for everyone
everyday's packed with activities.. 5 weeks of holidays are gone! hence i doubt i can squeeze time to take M5, M9 and SI insurance examinations (www.scicollege.org.sg); met up with zhiying @ suntec ichiban jap restaurant last thursday. we had a nice chat (great sushi & green-tea ice-cream as well ) i found out more about this career. but present priorities are to complete my minor, driving, shop, blade, out with friends&family, trips, maybe diving.. ah, and i haven't even started revision for my finance paper in 1.5 days
friday super 'hap' (lol. who understands??) found out beach rd sells all climbing stuff, well-known esplanage max brenner's warm chocolate fondue doesn't worth a second sin (raisin bread dipped in dark choco was ok), daybed bar at mohammad sultan is whitey + multi-lighting comfy-cosy (music's quite sucky though, so was my mojito drink), prompt decision to sentosa + immediate purchase of shorts to play/soak in the salty waters + shivering in the midnight cold air are feasible with the correct crazy companion
bladed for 6 hrs @ ecp with roy & clique on saturday evening. got my blades @ peninsula plaza; GSS 499 -> 343! made several new friends and at our first dinner, one of the guys could already see i love chilli and passed me 4 sauce dishes.. lagoon food centre duck rice + egg + daopok very the ley. oh yes, i have a shifu now.. i paid him 40 cents for unlimited lessons.. fell thrice while learning T-braking, U-turning and backblading.. hurt my thumb and it's still slightly painful ended the sweaty session at 12+, proceeded home to bathe then mj @ 2! played till i closed my eyes @ each precious opportunity again.. luckily profits were made at the end of it - 8AM
sunday night: been to east coast so many times but never explored west coast park before.! brought my indonesian sambal beehoon there.. had fun @ various stations.. mischievously played the monkey-bar ropes.. now got a blister on my left palm after the workout, we went to admire scenery at mount faber.. lotsa phototaking but the entire rainy sunday was freaking cold.. freezing @ the top.
best of all... har paw villa on sunday morning.!!! i know it has closed down for many years but i didn't know it is still open to public..!! free admission except for the 10 courts of hell in an air-conditioned cave. this place of interest was my favorite back in my childhood days when parents brought me, siblings and cousins there. i loved it..! even though i never noticed those quotes & learnings, admired the fine detailed sculptures.. but i remembered the thrilling, water-splashing boat ride! and it's no longer there thanks for bringing me there to reminisce, it was definitely an exciting and memorable trip! (http://zhuzhu84.multiply.com/photos) lunch: nuss alumni gym instructor brought ntu undergraduate to nus! the popular jap & western food were not bad, comparable to canteen A next, johor bahru!! reached citysquare, first aim was FOOD.. shao bao, taiwan laopor bing, fried chicken cutlet.. watched The Omen.. ate popcorn.. i found the movie rather boring, not scary at all.. worst of all, the theatre machiam 10 degree celsius; how we hoped that the puma jacket he just bought was 10 times thicker.. such a torture after shopping, makan again. roti john.. mee bandung (no, it's not pink in color. it's not fried noodles but soup-based.).. then ended with another oily special roti john <- highly recommended after such a food-laden day, i still could crave for hot chocolate (ran out of milo).. and yes, i drank, played new Over The Hedge ps2 game (funny&cute!), satisfied.. concussed.. fat.
